This is us

We've been there and done that—from the lowest lows to the highest highs. In the constant pursuit of happiness, we found ourselves asking, "Is this it?"

And then came the farm life.

As two successful professionals in our respective careers, we had it all: a house, the job, the headaches etc.. As you might think; something was missing. Was it time? Was it true happiness?

Deep down, we knew something didn’t sit right. So, we started small—adding another dog, dabbling in chickens, then a few more...why not ducks? And pigs? That’s when the stark realization hit us: instead of *living* while working, we were *working* to live.

We wanted more. We wanted to make a change and, at the same time, make a difference.

That’s when we stumbled upon the Meishan pig. While researching exotic chicken breeds, we fell head over heels for this remarkable, ancient breed. It was unexpected, but isn’t true love always found where you least expect it?

We work hard and play hard, but we’ve decided it’s time to truly *live*. In our free time, we love fishing, traveling, and meeting incredible people. Our dogs run the house (in the best way), our chickens keep us laughing, and our pigs bring an unexpected sunshine to our lives—while also keeping us on our toes.
